Taiwanese company Asus has just launched a new laptop which breaks every rule in the book – and then some. This new Eee PC is a revolutionary notebook computer designed to shake up the conventional wisdom. In the Eee PC do not have any hard drive only a flash memory for quicker access speeds and greater reliability. The Eee is a powerfully featured 2 pound notebook computer with a amazing collection of standard features at this price point. The Eee does not use windows operating system it uses a custom version of Linux. The Eee boots up 10 times faster than a standard windows laptop and contains advanced features like an inbuilt WiFi chip and web cam which is p reconfigured for Skype. There are also present USB and FireWire ports. It is also possible to install Windows, though after using the standard Linux version. The Eee comes preloaded with the Firefox web browser, and the complete Open Office Suite, which successfully replaces Microsoft office,
and is in fact much easier to use and configure. Also preconfigured Google Documents for online document editing and sharing, and links to Yahoo Email, AOL messenger and Google’s Gchat. Asus has launched an amazingly functional and lightweight laptop
which is far superior to traditional notebook PCs.

Many of today’s discussion deal with the use of technology.Mobile phones being the most important question.Parents, students, teachers,and school supervisors all have judgments on either why or why not children should be permissible to have cell phones at school.Teachers and administrators are now seeing debates between themselves.School chiefs are witnessing more and more cell phone use by their teachers.Teachers find it easier to make calls from their cell phones in the room rather than heading down to the office and probably waiting in line.Some teachers think that it is better to use the cell phone in their classroom rather than to leave the children unattended to go and make a call somewhere else in the building. Some of these calls being made pertain to the school.Teachers are returning the calls of parents,calling about unwell children calling about huge obedience problems.Some teachers are just making doctor meetings and hair appointments. In spite of of the cause of the call,one cannot refute that if students are not allowed to use their phones during class then teachers should not either.Most school administrators boundary teachers to cell phone use to during their lunch and other breaks when students are not there.Like students, not all teachers follow the rules.Under acute situations and emergencies, most principals are more than eager to be obliging about teacher and student cell phone use.
